Clint Dempsey, captain of the USMNT is "the fighter" that everyone wanted back in MLS
His name and history are synonyms with struggle and tenacity, Clint Dempsey, whose full name is Clinton Drew Dempsey, was born on March 9, 1983 in Nacogdoches , Texas.
He is described as a fighter and a world-class player that stands out as captain of the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT), and is now the pride of the Major League Soccer (MLS) since his return to it with the Seattle Sounders .
But beyond his abilities, his life has been plagued by setbacks, including the death of his sister also sportsman (tennis), and complex family financial difficulties. So far nothing has been able to stop him.
