Venezuela's International Ticket Sales Have Fallen 48%

The decline in the supply of tickets to the outside of Venezuela feels harder with each passing month. Which is usually a season of good sale, because it is the holiday season from July to September has been the worst year for airlines flying to international destinations from Venezuela, according to report by the International Transport Association Air (IATA).

According to the institution, so far this year, the issue of international air has dropped 48% to 1.5 million units, compared with the same period of 2013, when 2.5 million tickets were sold.

According to IATA, in 2007 there were 1,158,017 international tickets issued; in 2008 it amounted to 1,495,308; 1,804,361 were consolidated in 2009; in 2010, 1,689,345; in 2011, 2,076,453; in 2012, 2,562,132; in 2013 there was an increase 3,133,144 and up to July this year only 1,070,384.
