Venezuelan companies reached agreements for $ 25 million in Bogota International Fair

Over $ 25 million in business intentions in Colombia materialized Venezuelan businessmen who participated in the program of export promotion Venezuela exports in XXX Bogota International Fair, which took place this week at the International Business Centre and Exhibition (Corferias).

Companies in the construction sector defined 35% of the total amount of the negotiations at $ 8.73 million; followed by the line of exporting containers and packaging, with 33% ($ 8.23 million); the industrial sector, with 18% ($ 4.49 million), while the food industry won 5% ($ 1.18 million); Technology, 4% ($ 900,300); appliances, 3% ($ 822,000), and health, 2% ($ 450,000).

There were also present at the exhibition businessmen from Germany, Brazil and France, together with a wide exposure of the Colombian industrial sector, said the Foreign Trade Bank (Bancoex) on its website.

Venezuela Exports had this time with the participation of more than 120 national companies, which exhibited more than 500 export-quality products, in a space of 600 square meters that had a tasting bar drinks Venezuelan seal and wheel permanent business.

This program was previously developed in San Salvador, El Salvador; Puerto Principe, Trinidad and Tobago; Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Caracas, and then in Bogota, where Venezuela participated for the second time at the International Fair of Bogota. It first appearance was at the inauguration in 1964.

Since its inception, July 8th, 2013, in Montevideo, Uruguay, the program Venezuela Exports has also toured the cities of Guayaquil, Ecuador; Havana, Cuba; and Manaus, Brazil, reaching more than 191 million dollars in business intentions during its promotional schedule.
