Venezuela received three awards at the Latin Billboard 2014

"Do not applaud that much because I can start to cry right here. Thank you. This is a recognition of many years of work and sacrifice. I want to tell you thta music is beautiful, I love it, I love , but it's hard, so that they begin to engage in this, is not easy. Thanks for making me a corner in this room", that was the very first words of the acceptance speech of Franco de Vita began, who was awarded with Latin Billobar Hall of Fame award last night for "transcend borders of genres and language ​​" during his 30 years of musical career.

The venezuelan singer did not miss the opportunity to dedicate the award to Venezuela: "This award is for my country Venezuela. Que no me arranquen de raíz (...) que sólo se vive una vez" -refering to a very famous songs of this artis-. He thanked all the musicians and influential people in his career and sent a message to the younger generation who want to start their career. "Making music is beautiful, but it is hard, hard , hard", said the venezuelan singer. At the conclusion of his speech, de Vita showed to the audience why he deserved such recognition by interpreting with his band a medley of hits that included Buen perdedor, Te amo y No basta. Then the musician demonstrated, once again, on stage at the hotel JW Marriot Marquis Miami all his expertise and his musical knowledge.

Chino y Nacho won Artist, Duo or Group award and Tropical Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group, latin pop songs, for a total of three bif award for venezuelan music. The duo said between happiness and big smiles "Thanks to our manager Pablo Villalobos for labor all this years, Leo Herrera and Olavarria (...) Thanks to all the great artists for motivate and teach  us  that the dreams may come true and all of the people taht are starting a career in music, keep fighting we are a sign that you can do it", Nacho said and Chino added: "This is for all our fans and Viva Venezuela!".

Thi is not the first time that Chino and Nacho earn this award in Latin music, in 2013 they won their first Billboard Duo line or tropical group of the year. 

Marc Anthony won 10 awards that included Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year in a ceremony that was a tribute to the salsa singer Cheo Feliciano with Ricky Martin and Chayanne in the performance.
