Venezuela is ready to receive South American athletes

Venezuela's central coast will receive the ninth and final visit from South American Sporting Organization this thursday to inspect the sport facilities built for the III Beach Games, to be held between may 14 and 24 at Vargas. 

For that day is also expected the induction of the 850 trained volunteers to assist participants, spectators and officials, according to the general coordinator of the organizing committee, and Vargas' attorney, Pedro Rodríguez, who announced that 155 of the 950 registered athletes in the 10 sports on the program will be from Venezuela.

The olympic athlete Jesus Villafañe, who was part of the U23 venezuelan duo who participated on beach volleyball World's Cup, the sailor competitor Daniela Rivera, the triathlete Carlos Perez (who participated in the Singapore Youth Olimpic Games 2010), and surf champion Ronald Reyes, stands out in the list of the venezuelan athletes.

At La Punta Beach, located in Los Caracas, will be done the surf competition. Puerto Azul and Camurí clubs will hold saliling, water skiing and swimming in open waters competitions, and the rest of the sport program will be done at Hugo Chávez Arena and Camurí Chico Boulevard. The Hugo Chávez Arena, which will have a main and five auxiliary fields, it will be ready to be delivered this week to the organizing committee.
