Venezuela advances in Beach Volleyball in Nanjing

The Venezuelan Beach Volleyball team formed by José Gómez and Rolando Hernández won a diploma this Sunday when they beat 2-0 Paraguay in the II Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. This victory gave them a pass to quarter finals.

The partials of the match were 21-18 y 23-2, which showed the supremacy of the team that will play against Segio Figueroa and Daniel Rivera from Puerto Rico today.

With this triumph Venezuela has the Olympic Diploma of quarter finals. Other athletes that have also won are Josneyber Ramírez in the 100 meters sprint in Athletics, getting a 7th place in the competition;  Wilson Magallanes, 5th place in the 69 kilograms category of weightlifting.
