Vásquez "swag" will improve Raptors' game

The english word "swag" refers to a person who has a particular way to do things, a style that sets it apart from the rest. Greivis Vásquez is recognized in Toronto, not only for their substantial contribution in the second half of the season, but also for being the player who gave a peculiar touch that helped the Raptors to reach his best season in the NBA. The postseason begins today when Toronto Raptors face the Brooklyn Nets at the Air Canada Centre.

"I have to play a second postseason today, and today is when I understand and appreciate the fact of having a previous experience like I had with Memphis in my first year in the league" said Vásquez from Toronto.

"To play this type of games has given me maturity, I want to bring that maturity to the team this time when we go to the first series", he said .

Toronto has a young but talented squad. Led by DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowery, the team will have to fight against Nets that dazzle for their experienced names like Deron Williams, Paul Pierce, or Joe Johnson.

"We have a more athletic and strong team", described Vásquez. "Youth can help us to overcome Nets' seniority. It will be a very even series, but I hope to make it to the NBA Finals", he said.

"The second half of the season was good because we gained a lot of confidence", explained the venezuelan. "When the moment that the wins and good games started to come, all starts to flow better", said Vásquez, who had averaged 9.6 points, 4.2 assists and 2.2 rebounds this season.

"The chemistry of this team is amazing. Coming to Toronto has been good to me", Greivis Vásquez said. "It's the team in which I have felt more comfortable in my career", said the venezuelan with the same confindence provided to the Raptors since his arrival in December.

"I only know that you have to be very calm and work hard in playoffs. I'll put a bit of that "swag" that they say I have in this playoff, and I am confident that we are going to the next round", he concluded.
