Suns guard Leandro Barbosa will miss four to six weeks after fracturing his left hand while taking a charge at the end of the first quarter of Tuesday night's loss to the Clippers.

Clippers point guard Chris Paul drove into Barbosa at the free throw line, making Barbosa lose his balance and back-pedal rapidly into teammate Shavlik Randolph. Barbosa fractured the hand when he tried to break his fall by planting his left hand. He played another six scoreless minutes in the second quarter before exiting for examination.

Barbosa, who already had shoulder and toe injuries since joining the Suns on Jan. 8, was signed for backcourt depth while Eric Bledsoe was hurt. Barbosa averaged 4.5 points in 12.0 minutes per game for 19 appearances.
