Santos Laguna is the champion of the Copa Mx

Santos Laguna had to shoot penalties, and ended defeating Puebla by 4-2, with a scorecard of 2-2 in regular time, and won its first Mexican championship, leaving with the MX Cup after the match in the Corona stadium.

Andrés Rentería opened the score for Santos 33 minutes into the game, but Colombian Jhon Pajoy tied it at 71.

Everything seemed on the way to decide the match with penalties, but Néstor Calderón brought some uncertainty to the match at 76, scoring for Santos and putting Puebla on distress, at least until a shot by captain Luis Miguel Noriega entered on the Laguna goal line after bouncing in the upper beam at 89.

And then Juan Pablo Rodríguez, Osvaldo Alanís, Calderón and Djaniny scored for Santos.

Puebla just scored twice, thanks to Pajoy and Enrique Pérez. Acosta and Francisco Torres failed their turn.
