Arange of new devices were launched by Samsung last week Thursday at the Samsung Experience Store in Half- Way-Tree. Headlining these devices was Samsung’s newest phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. Sporting a huge 5.7-inch screen with a crisp 2560 by 1440 display, the Note 4 has one of the best screens on the market. The phone is no slouch either, due to its 2.7 GHz Quad-Core processor as well as Android 4.4 Kit-Kat.

The camera on the Note 4 is capable of taking 16 megapixel shots and can record videos in 4k. New features introduced in the camera include a panoramic selfie feature called ‘Wide Selfie ’and the ability to take pictures of notes on the board in a classroom and convert it to a phone-friendly format. Various innovative features have been included in the Note 4, such as being able to run and use multiple apps on the screen at the same time.

The S-Pen, included with the Note, comes equipped to make note-taking and drawings on the device simple. Multiple health apps were also included, such as a heart rate monitor and accelerometer. Also launched at the Samsung Event was Samsung’s newest smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear S.

Featuring a two-inch curved display and 3G and Bluetooth technology, the Gear S is the perfect companion to your smartphone. One could make and answer calls, check text messages and emails or change the music being played without ever having to take the phone out of one’s pocket.

Multiple sensors, GPS and Nike+ are all built in, so fitness is important in this device. And the device available for use the Galaxy Tab S, which boasts one of the best screens in the tablet market.

Improvements have been made in order for the screen to be completely visible outside during the daytime. The Galaxy Alpha, a 4.7-inch phone with a full–metal body was also shown during the event.
