Salomon Rondon reaches 100 goals

Salomón Rondón reached 100 goals when he scored against Stardard Lieja, this Tuesday in previous phase of the Champions League. The Venezuelan soccer player used a rebound of the goal keeper and shaked his head to score and keep 102 goas in official competitions.   

The Venezuelan forward received a center at minute 30 and sent the ball at the end of the net, so his team, the Zenit of Saint Petersburg, Russia, beat Standard  Lieja from Belgium and classified to the group phase of the European Champion League. The match ended 3-0.

The “Gladiator” has scored 7 goals with the Vinotinto “A”, 18 with Aragua FC, 12 with Las Palmas, 27 with Malaga, 24 with Rubin Kazan and 14 with Zenit, for a total of 102 goals in his professional career. .

This record doesn’t  include the goals scored during friendly matches, despite are FIFA’s matches. It doesn’t include neither  the goals scored in inferior categories or the national team sub 17, nor sub 20.
