Posted by Juan Gavasa on July 09, 2014

Argentina boss, Alejandro Sabella said today that he is "thrilled" to see his team through to Sunday's World Cup final in Brazil, where they will face Germany.

"I'm ecstatic. It was a tough, tight game. We could have won it in the second half of extra-time but that's how it goes at a World Cup", the Argentina coach told the press.

When asked to compare his team to Germany, Sabella pointed out that his team go into the World Cup final with "a day's less rest" than the opposition.

"We'll see what we can do. They're a tough side but we'll give it our all. We'll take our humility and hard work into the final", he said.
