The Rolling Stones To Launch Latin America Tour In February And Resale Tickets Continue To Climb

Age is nothing but a number for The Rolling Stones, who will take to the road in early 2016 for a string of dates in Latin America, marking the band’s first time performing there in a decade. The tour will launch on February 3 and run until March 14, making nine stops in total including Santiago, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Lima, and Bogotá and Mexico City. Fans have not hesitated to jump for tickets to see The Rolling Stones, as resale prices are seeing enormous numbers for across the schedule.

The Stones were last on the road this past summer for their hugely successful Zip Code Tour, which played less-popular stadiums across North America. “Zip Code” was one of the biggest tours of the year, grossing $109,714,026 at just 14 shows. However, The Rolling Stones’ “Zip Code” tour had some of the lowest ticket prices on the secondary market for the band in years, as many tickets could be purchased for as low as $30. They were the cheapest tickets on a Rolling Stone tour since their “Bigger Bang” run from 2005-2007.

As it stands, the priciest stop on the Latin America leg of the tour is set to be the band’s February 13 performance in Argentina where the cheapest ticket is available for $421, according to European ticket reseller Ticketbis. Not far behind that date is the band’s February 10 show also in Argentina, where the cheapest ticket is $374. So far, not a single date has a ticket available for under $100, as the cheapest ticket to any show is the band’s February 3 stop in Chile, where a get-in ticket is available for $139.

Additionally, the resale platform has already registered purchases for as much as $2,955.86 for some dates and others, from fortunate buyers, for as low as $12.
