Pilot Cecotto Jr. will start in GP2 Series

Venezuelan pilot, Johnny Amadeus Cecotto, will participate in the International Sahkir Circuit in Bahrein, in the start of the new season of the GP2 series. Cecotto will be present, at least in the first stages of the tournament in a car of the Italian team Trident Racing.

The 24-years old Venezuelan, starts as one of the most experienced competitors in the race, with his participation in 83 races after his debut in the penultimate round of 2009, in Monza, Italy.

Since then, Cecotto has conquered two titles, two second places and dos pole positions in the urban circuit of Montecarlo, with a total of 147 points.

Since his beginning in the prelude division in Formula 1 in 2005 campaign, the GP2 series has included, at least, one Venezuelan in the starting line. Venezuelan pilots have scored 14 titles in 189 rounds.
