Peinado will be the leader of Venezuela's team in Nanjing

Pole vault champion Robeilys Peinado will be in charge of carrying Venezuela's flag during the II Summer Youth Olympic Games Nanjing 2014, which will be hold from August 14th to August 26th, informed last Wednesday 1st Head of Government of the Venezuelan Capital District, Caracas.

"The captain Robeilys Peinado will be the leader of Venezuela's team in the II Summer Youth Olympic Games Nanjing 2014," twitted @JacquelinePsuv.

Peinado shined in the pole vault Youth World Championship, held in Ukraine, July 2013, cleared a season’s best of 4.25m. She is the sub champion of the Pan-American Junior Championships (4, 40 m), champion of the South American junior championships, Lima 2013 (4.00 metros), winner of the Bolivarian Games of Trujillo, 2013 (4, 30 m, record) and silver medalist in South American Games Santiago 2014 (4, 20 m).

Peinado, who is training in Brígido Iriarte's stadium in Caracas, will travel to the Asian continent next August 10th in order to adapt herself to the weather and time zone.

Venezuela's team will have a representation of 59 athletes, number that exceeds the 21 that went to the I Summer Youth Olympic Games Singapore 2010.
