Neymar makes the difference for Brazil but the team is the real star, says the manager Dunga

Dunga says Neymar is the star player for Brazil, but maintains that the key factor in their resurgence is the team's remarkable work ethic.

The Selecao were left reeling after their failure to win World Cup 2014 on home soil, with the hosts suffering a devastating 7-1 loss to Germany in the semi-finals before being beaten 3-0 by Netherlands in the third-place play-off.

However, Brazil have racked up five consecutive victories - all without conceding a goal - since Dunga succeeded Luiz Felipe Scolari as coach in July.

The Selecao boss has nothing but praise for Neymar's role in that winning streak, with his captain having netted six times in his last two games alone, but he is more pleased with the way in which the entire squad are working together as a single unit.

"The team must be the winner," he told reporters in Istanbul. "You have to defend with as many players behind the ball as possible and attack with the maximum amount - and always with a lot of movement.

"The talent, the star player, will always prevail, as it is he who will make the difference and decide games.

"But for that to happen, we need to fight tirelessly to win possession of the ball."

The Selecao go in search of their sixth win on the spin in Vienna on November 18 when they face Austria in their final Gillette Brasil Global Tour friendly of the year.
