The World Bank and the Caribbean's biggest university on Tuesday launched a new partnership that's intended to encourage the regional development of mobile app entrepreneurs.

The World Bank says the Caribbean Mobile Innovation Program will provide training and mentorships to developers from across the Caribbean who hope to build viable mobile app businesses.
