The Most Sensual Latin American Actresses

Posted by PanamericanWorld on September 04, 2018

Such categories as sensuality and beauty depend on different aspects. Women are not exotic because of having a perfect body or impeccable face. The extraordinary touch is usually connected to professional virtuosity or human qualities. However, there are women that successfully gather all those elements, so they become famous for their authenticity and irresistible appeal.

Let’s take a look at the Latin American actresses that have been ranked among the most sensual and professionally-acclaimed women. We have put together this list of outstanding women from the television and movie realms by taking into consideration the prizes they have won, public recognition and opinions expressed by experts on this matter, although, as every selection, it is exposed to subjectivity.

Gisele Bündchen (Brazil)

Going back to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the rhythm of Garota de Ipanema, the most iconic song of Rio de Janeiro, the whole world was looking at stunning Gisele Bündchen during the last parade in the event. This 1.80-meter-high woman became a silver ecstasy in front of 3,000 million people.

Brazil has certainly been a fertile land in terms of movie and soap opera stars, such as Sonia Braga or Gloria Pires. Although Bündchen’s presence in the big screen has been limited (Taxi, 2004; The Devil Wears Prada, 2006; Coração Vagabundo, 2008) and perhaps she doesn’t meet the “Brazilian girl” stereotype, she is undoubtedly one of the most sensual women in the South American Giant or, as she was described by Rolling Stone magazine, “The most beautiful girl in the world”

Taís Araújo (Brazil)

Gisele can be labeled as an actress, but she has especially stood out in the runway realm. Nevertheless, there are other spectacular girls like Taís Araújo, the first black actress to make her debut in several TV spaces in Brazil. Beyond her appeal on stage, she shared her artistic vocation with the Journalism degree.

Salma Hayek (Mexico)

Only three Latin American stars have been nominated to the Oscar as the best actress. Among them, we can mention a Mexican sex symbol, one of the most prominent artists of that country, which has also given birth to several super stars: Salma Hayek. After Dolores del Rio, Hayek is the most acclaimed Mexican actress in Hollywood.

Beyond her work as an actress, Salma is a businesswoman and a producer. Admired by several of the roles she has played, everybody remembers her Frida in 2002. She has worked in over 50 movies to date and, among the many awards she has been given, this actress got the Prize to the Artist of the Year in February 2006, granted by the Harvard University Foundation. In 2016 she has also made headlines for her position against Trump, since she has described him as an “elementary school boy competing to be president of the United States”.

Sofia Vergara (Colombia)

At 7013 Hollywood boulevard, Sofia Vergara has her star in the Walk of Fame. This is the second Colombian celebrity to have that decoration, preceded by Shakira. The charismatic woman has been the best paid actress in the U.S. television for three years in a row, she’s described among the most sensual women of the world and, in 2014, Forbes magazine ranked her in the 32nd position among the 100 more powerful women. The Barranquilla-born star has developed a brilliant career over the past 25 years, as an actress, model, presenter and producer. With some four decades, she is radiantly beautiful.

Alicia Machado (Venezuela)

Even with the beauty of Venezuelan Majandra Delfino or Patricia Velazquez, Alicia Machado is likely to be the most popular name of that country. Born in Maracay, this woman was Miss Universe in 1996. Although she has not played the most important roles and her fame is mostly related to beauty shows, she has made lots of headlines. This year and the upcoming elections in the United States have given her the possibility to attack the magnate that saw her win the Miss crown and subjected her to ruthless bullying during the first years of her career.

Yuliet Cruz - Ana de Armas (Cuba)

We finish the list with Cuba, where we find examples of great women, authentically beautiful and talented stars. Some critics and the public have pointed at Yuliet Cruz as the most gorgeous and talented Cuban actress. We have seen this woman in important movies, theater plays and television shows. Moreover, she is very sensual and charming.

On the other hand, Ana de Armas, the young Cuban actress that is presently captivating Hollywood, has caught the attention of outstanding directors and producers with her eyes and work. At the age of 28, Ana has already worked with Robert De Niro, Keanu Reeves, and she’ll soon share with set with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling.

Many of the women included in this list work in movies and television shows out of their respective countries; nonetheless, they represent their land. Beyond this polemic, they are Latin American women, professional and absolutely beautiful.
