Vegas emanates energy and vivacity 24/7. However, on september 14th it will be specially vibrant.

At the MGM Grand, “The One” will be crowned in the fastest selling boxing event ever.

The pound-for-pound king Floyd “Money” Mayweather and the rising Mexican star Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will face in what is probably the best fight of the year.

Alvarez (42-0, 30 KO’s) is a young and talented fighter. With only 22 years of age, he is already a boxing celebrity, specially in Mexico which is one of the biggest boxing nations. His surprisingly dominant victory against Austin Trout awarded him the opportunity to face Mayweather in the biggest fight of this career so far. Alvarez poses a serious threat to Mayweather. He is fast, strong, talented, much younger and much heavier than Mayweather.

On the other hand, Mayweather (44-0, 26 KO’s) is the pound-for-pound king. He has a love/hate relationship with boxing fans, but everyone wants to see him fight regardless. He is the biggest boxing star and he attracts the masses wherever he goes.

Mayweather is extremely comfortable with this fight, in fact he is already looking past it. Here’s what he recently said “After my five more fights, guess what? I think after [getting to] 49-0 we may stay in this sport a little longer. This Sept. 14, it’s just another walk in the park...”

Mayweather is most definitely a serious threat to Alvarez. He is quick, smart and talented, and his many years of experience over Alvarez are a big advantage on his side. He plays the game better than anybody else.

This fight is one that even people who mildly like boxing won’t want to miss.

Who do you think is “The One”?
