Longoria wins US Open for the fifth time

Mexican racquetball player Paola Longoria won her fifth US Open tournament with a score of 3-0 over Argentinean María José Vargas, in Minneapolis.

Longoria, from San Luis Potosí, was the favorite and confirmed it without complications with partials of 11-5, 11-3 and 11-8 in the Life Time Fitness court.

Longoria increased her winning streak with her 37 victory, in a career total of 150 and her fifth straight US Open. US Rhonda Rajsich ended fourth.
