Jhonny Cecotto won the GP2 Grand Prix of Spain

The venezuelan GP2 pilot Jhonny Cecotto won this saturday the long race, which it has 36 laps, at the GP2 Grand Prix of Spain. This is the third event disputed at Cataluña's track, on the outskirts of Barcelona.

"This was an incredible race!I won the race starting at the 16th place at GP2 in Barcelona", wrote the young pilot in his twitter account @Jcecotto, after completing this GP2 race of the GP2 Series, the motor racing above F1. 

Cecotto, from the italian racing team Trident, made a great performance to overcome his 16th place at the start to get to the top of the podium, placed ahead of the britain Jolyon Palmer and the brazilian Felipe Nasr, standby piece of the Williams team maximum category, informed AFP.

The venezuelan pilot is in the fourth place at the 2014 championship's chart and give to his team its second victory on GP2 history, after Pastor Maldonado's winning in 2007.

Cecotto, the young pilot of 24 years old, previously had as a best result a fifth place in this Barcelona's race track.
