Jamaica’s McLaughlin, Calvert, Henry-Robinson progress to women’s 200m semi finals

Jamaica’s Anneisha McLaughlin, Schillonie Calvert and Samatha Henry-Robinson all progressed to the semi finals of the women’s 200 metre at the 20th Commonwealth Games underway in Glasgow, Scotland.

McLaughlin won Heat 3 in 23.27 while Henry Robinson (23.18) finished second in Heat 2, behind Bianca Williams of Great Britain (22.97). Calvert won Heat 4 in 23.14 seconds.

Favourite Nigeria’s Blessing Okabare took Heat 1 in 22.99 seconds.
