Is Jamaica The Happiest Country In The Caribbean? The latest edition of the World Happiness Report is out and Jamaica is ranked as the Caribbean’s 2nd happiest country. The Happiest Caribbean Country was Trinidad and Tobago with an overall ranking of 41st in the world.  Jamaica’s overall ranking is 65th in the world.  Switzerland took the top spot, followed by Iceland.

The 2015 report which  ranks happiness in 158 countries is by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Solutions Network.  Many of the smaller Caribbean islands were not surveyed.  The Dominican Republic (ranked 98th) and Haiti (ranked 119th) are the only other Caribbean countries that appear on the report.
