Jamaica and Egypt drew 2-2 in their international friendly at the Matchroom Stadium, London, England today.

Jamaica led  2-1 at half-time but Egypt drew level in the 71st minute.

The Pharaohs opened  the scoring in the fourth minute of play with a well taken header from a corner.

But Jamaica’s Simon Dawkins scored his first international goal, to equalise in the 27th minute. Some 10 minutes later the Reggae Boyz took the lead through Joel Grant to end the half ahead.

Egypt on the resumption took the game to the Reggae Boyz and equalised in the 71st  minute.

The Jamaicans have already faced Serbia and Switzerland in respective 1-2 and 0-1 losses last Monday in New Jersey, USA, and last Friday in Luzern, Switzerland.

Jamaica will face France in Lille on June 8 in the last of their four-match friendly international series.
