When is just about two weeks to culminate the first round of the Professional Basketball League (LPB), six teams fights for four tickets in order to remain after sorting Crocodile Caracas and Anzoategui Marine dispute. These four spaces are fought by Trotamundos de Carabobo, Guaqueríes de Margarita, Toros de Aragua, Guaros de Lara, Gaiteros from Zulia y Gigantes from Guayana.

Trotamundos  is near to materialize its calssification, because the team exhibits a great mark of 20 winnings and 10 losses, two games unlike the first place of the saurian set. Toros and Guaiqueríes are tied for fourth place with identical record: 30 games played, 16 won, 14 lost and 6 games behind the leader. The qualification for the second round will depend entirely on themselves, because they are two games difference Guaros and Pipers.

In the duel between Lara and Zulia, Zulia have an advantage because they have less games than the team from Lara. Guaros has 30 games played, 14 won and 16 lost, while Gaiteros has won 13 and lost 15 in 28 contests.

Gigantes has a little more complicated classification, but mathematically still choices. The team from Guayana has a record of 13 winnings and 17 lost.
