After missing the national team season while recovering from an injury in his shoulder, the Brazilian FIVB Hero is back to help his team in the Brazilian league and is also getting ready to become a father for the first time.

After being off the courts for 245 days, on November 30 FIVB Hero Murilo Endres again felt the emotion of taking part in a volleyball match.

The last time the Brazilian captain had stepped onto the court was March 30, after which he decided to finally take time off and undergo surgery for a longstanding shoulder injury.

“I have never spent so much time away. I have only had a few injuries in my career. I tore my knee in 2001, had an injury in my calf, and now this in the shoulder. But it’s almost over now. I’m anxious to play, I’m practicing a lot and I’m very motivated to help the team.”
