FIFA to offer courses in T&T

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) will benefit from three FIFA courses in different aspects of the game in August. Three courses will be on the agenda with the Referees Assistance Programme course running from August 12-15.

The Refereeing Assistance Programme (RAP) centres on the training of referees and technical experts of the elite refereeing associations. The focus will be on different activities of both a theoretical and practical nature. A FIFA marketing and administration course will also take place from August 12-15, while a match co-ordinator course will run from August 17-19.

Patrick Beckles will oversee these courses which is expected to be wide ranging and include excerpts of  FIFA programmes, general management issues, member association matters, marketing, communications, and event management. The courses were offered by FIFA as the world governing body seeks to assist the TTFA and this all falls within the TTFA’s commitment to the development of the sport locally.
