Exhibition on Maya civilization present in Paris museum

The exhibition: "Maya: revelation of an endless time" that was visited by more than 400,000 people in Mexico City and Sao Paulo opens today in Paris.

The exhibition at Quai Branly Museum in includes 385 pieces such as urns, ceramics, stelae, lintels and jade funerary masks from 20 Mexican museums such as Anthropology, Chiapas, Palenque, Comalcalco and the Maya Museum in Cancún.

It also features recent discoveries found in burials at Balamkú and Jaina island, in Campeche.

The exhibition will be open until February 8, 2015.
