Enablis benefit gala in Toronto: A unique opportunity to support entrepreneurs in developing countries

Enablis is hosting its fourth Benefit Gala in Toronto on Thursday, November 06, 2014 at 6PM at the Arcadian Court. Presented by CIBC, the evening entitled « Two Hemispheres, One Business Sense » will showcase for the first time, the growing impact Enablis is having among SME entrepreneurs in Argentina.

Enablis is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting local entrepreneurs in developing countries to reduce poverty through job creation.

Guadalupe Antao Cortez, a young Enablis entrepreneur from Buenos Aires, Argentina and co-founder of Sinergias Creativas, a consulting firm in HR and communications, will be the evening’s guest speaker. Some 350 guests will discover that Enablis offers a sustainable solution by helping thousands of entrepreneurs like Guadalupe Antao Cortez grow their businesses and create jobs. The evening will be presented by Rose Vervenne, Vice-President Latin America Operations at Enablis and a video showing the value of the Enablis International Mentoring Program will be featured.

This fourth annual Enablis Gala is on to another success thanks to a dynamic Organizing Committee led by Co-Chairs, David Williamson, Senior Executive Vice-President and Group Head, Retail and Business Banking at CIBC, Guy Laurence, President and CEO of Rogers and William Birchall, Vice-Chairman of Barrick Gold.

The Committee also includes business leaders Stephen Forbes, Executive Vice President, Brand, Corporate & Client Relationships, CIBC, William Morris, Senior Managing Director and Canada President, Accenture and Kaitlyn LeFeaver, Community Investment & Cause Marketing Specialist at Rogers Communications. Charles Sirois, Founder and Chairman of Enablis is the Honorary Chair of the event. Tickets for the event are on sale for $500. Tables of ten are available at $5,000.
