Elon Musk to Work With Apple?

Posted by Liliana Castaño on February 17, 2014

With Steve Jobs gone, Apple's capability to keep innovating and maintain themselves in the top has been questioned. For the past two years without Jobs, Apple's stock has dropped, and the customers have not seen any new groundbreaking product come from the company, only rumors. Of course, it is hard to expect Tim Cook to follow in the steps of a genius, and he is certainly doing his best, but Apple knows they need to bring innovation to the company again, and for that they could use the service of another genius, Elon Musk.

Musk could arguably be the new Steve Jobs. His ideas are out of this world, literally. He is the founder of SpaceX, a company that plans to make traveling to space available to the regular consumer (who are able to afford it, of course), and Paypal, which is one of the biggest payment and money transfer services in the world. Musk is also the owner of Tesla Motors, a high-end electric car company, and SolarCity, a solar panel installer. Moreover, he has now hinted to the invention of the hyperloop which would let people go from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 35 minutes.

Elon Musk's innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities have made him the huge success he is right now, and if Apple needs innovation, Musk may very well be the person to give them that. So, Apple's "secret" meeting can be great for their future. If someone can replace Steve Jobs, Musk could be the one.
