Dunga knows Brazil Superclasico squad

The Selecao have just returned form the September leg of the Gillette Brasil Global Tour but Wednesday will see the coach name his team for October's clash with Argentina

On Wednesday Brazil coach Dunga will announce his new squad for the upcoming Gillette Brasil Global Tour October dates.

The Selecao will face Argentina in the Superclasico de las Americas in Beijing on October 11 before meeting Japan in Singapore October 14.

Dunga, who was coach between 2006 and 2010, returned to the position to succeed Luiz Felipe Scolari following Brazil’s semi-final exit at this year’s World Cup.

He kicked off his second stint in charge this past week with consecutive 1-0 victories over Colombia in Miami and Ecuador in New Jersey.

His first squad since his appointment included just 10 of the 23 that contested the World Cup with Scolari.

Atletico Mineiro’s Diego Tardelli was been drafted in as a false no.9 as Dunga attempts to introduce a more contemporary system akin to those used by Barcelona, Spain and Germany.

Neymar was named the team’s captain by Dunga, but it is as yet unclear whether he retain the armband once Thiago Silva makes his expected return to the squad from injury.

Dunga will announce his squad at 11am local time at the CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
