Cuadrado, torn between 2 suitors

Fiorentina are out for every last euro in the sale of Juan Guillermo Cuadrado. The club is well aware that there is next to no chance of him staying on.

After the player's great performance in the World Cup, the European big guns such as Barcelona, Chelsea and United soon came after him. However, the Italian club has not wanted to complicate matters and quickly bowed to the player's wishes to leave.

At present, there are two clubs in the running to sign him. Manchester United have put more money on the table for the Colombian but the player himself prefers the Catalan club as the English side will not be taking part in the Champions League this coming season.

The player reached a gentleman's agreement during the Brazil World Cup, but this means little to his club. Fiorentina , who had fixed a price of €50 million, see Barça's €40 million offer as insufficient. All should be decided this next week.
