People are in constant search of the best locations to take a vacation and decide to stay behind to live an extraordinary life in a place that can be considered a haven in paradise. A place called Belize is probably one of the perfect destinations when a person wants to take off to a tranquil place to relax and have a great time.

Belize is a country located in Central America, particularly on the eastern coast. Belize is the only location in Central America that uses English as its official language. There are still two languages that are also commonly used in communication among the residents of Belize and those are; the Belizean Creole and Spanish.

One of the best features of this paradise is the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor which is a natural bridge connecting South America to North America. This bridge consists of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and of course, Belize and is important for the world’s known species to migrate to another location. As a matter of fact, the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor houses around 7to 10% different species because of its unique habitat. And, therefore, the abundant marine species and terrestrial features unaltered by the human hands make the place an absolutely well-renowned vacation destination.

The society in Belize is quite diverse because of the different cultural heritages and languages that people have been accustomed to. The people of Belize celebrate almost all public holidays including the Independence Day, St. George’s Caye Day and the most celebrated and festive of all that tourists would want to witness is the Carnival; this is celebrated during September.

Tourists and travelers would definitely love their traditional cuisine that is a mixture of diverse ethnicities. The food in Belize is really heavenly especially when people love the Mexican, Central American, Jamaican, and Anglo-Caribbean dishes.

While in Belize, people will be entertained to their Afro-Caribbean beats and sounds which are closely similar to Calypso, Reggae, and Meringue Music. The music from the waves of the ocean, the sound of the forest animals could really be refreshing and relaxing; Belize really brings you close to nature while you slumber on a hot afternoon.

When one wants this great adventure and this unique experience, traveling to Belize wouldn’t be a problem anymore as there are a lot of airlines providing direct flights to transport people from Los Angeles to Belize. Delta Airlines, for example, offers flights on weekends. While the American Airlines offers daily flights to and from Belize. The country of Belize encourages airlines to have flights to this wondrous place to promote tourism and the Belize real estate properties.
