Banamex bank exhibits paintings of its collection

Banamex will exhibit 130 paintings of its private collection at the Banamex Cultural Palace (formerly known as Palacio de Iturbide), in Mexico City downtown.

The exhibition includes paintings spanning five centuries by artists such as Miguel Cabrera, Germán Gedovius, José María Velasco, Eulalia Lucio, Dr. Atl, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco, Rufino Tamayo, María Izquierdo, Sergio Hernandez, Francisco Toledo, Irma Palacios, Magali Lara and Alberto Gironella, among others.

It also includes works by foreign artists that painted in Mexico, such as British painter Daniel Thomas Egerton British or Eugenio Landesio from Italy.

The exhibition runs until March 2015. It is open from 10:00 to 19:00 hrs. every day and admission is free.
