Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Andre Boucaud was thrilled after again being called up to the Trinidad & Tobago national team.

The 29-year old, who has played for the CONCACAF team 17 times, has been included in Stephen Hart’s squad for Caribbean Cup qualifiers against the Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda next month and is eagerly anticipating being back on the international scene.

"Playing international football is huge, whatever nation or country it is," Boucaud told Dagenham’s official website.

"A couple of months ago we played against Argentina and played against (Lionel) Messi.

"If I didn't play for Trinidad and Tobago, playing international football, I'd never have got that opportunity, so I'm grateful."

Boucaud, who made his T&T debut back in 2004, last played for the Soca Warriors in a 2-0 loss to Iran in June.
