Albert Subirats earned a bronze medal at the French Open

The Venezuelan swimmer, Albert Subirats, earned a bronze medal at the 50 meters butterfly at the French Open which in being held at the water-sports complex in Vichy.

Subirats had a time of 23.84 to earn the bronze medal, behind the Olympic athletes César Cielo and Nicholas Santos from Brazil. At the eliminatory round, Albert Subirats classified at the third place with a time of 23.93.

Another Venezuelan swimmer, Carlos Eduardo Claverie, made a good job at the French Open. He finished in fourth place at the 200-meters breast stroke Final "A" with a time of 2:13.21. At the eliminatory round, Claverie made a time of 2:15.88. 

Alejandro Gómez finished in fifth place at the 400 meters freestyle (4:00.18) and Crox Acuña made a time of 51:19 at the 100 meters freestyle to finish at the twentieth place.
