Besides checking out the sports events at the Pan Am Games, here are some other things to do.

1. CIBC PAN AM PARK

Open daily from July 11 to 25

There are two stages with live music and roaming performances in the heart of the Games’ largest sport cluster. There are more than 50 acts including performances by Kiesza, Stars, USS, Colin James, Choc Quib Town, Bajofondo, Afro-Cuban All Stars, and more. Free. More info at www.Toronto2015.org/Panamania

2. NATHAN PHILLIPS SQUARE

Open daily from July 10 to 26 and Aug. 7 to 12

There are more than 130 musical acts set to take place on three stages. There will also be nightly Victory Celebrations and fireworks, along with jumbo video screens with live Games coverage. The events are co-produced with the City of Toronto. Free. More info at www.Toronto2015.org/Panamania

3. THE DISTILLERY HISTORIC DISTRICT

Open daily from July 11 to 25 (excluding Mondays)

Stroll the cobblestone lanes while taking in the sights, sounds and tastes of the Americas. There will be artisanal products at container pop-up shops, various culinary, basket-weaving demonstrations, Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra and more. Free. More info at www.Toronto2015.org/Panamania

4. HARBOURFRONT CENTRE

Daily from July 10 to Aug. 16

Discover Ontario’s Celebration Zone and experience 38 days of fun and entertainment. There will be live performances, Ontario craft beer, ciders and wine, chef demonstrations and tastings and family programming. Lots to do and see for free. Info at www.ontariotravel.net

5. PrideHouseTO Pavilion (0519 Church St.)

Runs from July 8 to 26, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (with weekend street closures and celebrations)

The place to be for LGBTQ people and allies during the 2015 Pan Am Games. Check out the PrideHouseTO Pavilion and street festival featuring sport activations, concerts, beer gardens, art installations and Games viewing. Visit www.pridehouseto.ca for more info and to get passes.
